Our winery and vineyards are located in the Upper Arroyo Grande Valley. The property is one of the few remaining intact Spanish land grants in California. Rancho Arroyo Grande dates back over two centuries and holds a place in California history. In its earliest days, Rancho Arroyo Grande served as a support facility for Mission San Luis Obispo. It is believed that Englishman Henry Ditmas produced the first commercial wines of the central coast at Rancho Arroyo Grande in the 19th century. Recently, the ranch came under the ownership of the Conway family who are committed to realizing its potential for producing special and rare wines.
